Sizzling bacon, pants are tight.
A muffin top that's not so nice.
What is happening around my belly is very much
like a bowl of jelly.

Hi my name is Susan Platt. I am a student at Old Dominion University, (and the author of the clever poem above:) and I really want to get healthy. Everyday it's a struggle. I had high hopes to exercise and eat healthy today, but another day has gone by and fitness got left behind for studying and everyday responsiblities. I am a group with two guys in a Public Journalism class. and we are working on the same issue--Fitness and Health. I have created this blog to get some support (hopefully we can support each other) and get some ideas and insight from fellow bloggers about this subject.
Here's the question, and the mystery: How do I get and stay motivated to workout and eat healthy?
No comments, no matter. Here's site that I started to read that was perinent to the subject of my blog.

I had the same thought today -- that I would make time for the gym. But alas, too many papers to grade and emails to respond to and here I am sitting on my couch typing away. My next best idea is a bit of yoga on my new wii fit before I fall asleep. Can I really be healthy with interactive yoga and a "trainer" who fusses at me every time I play because I'm not dedicated enough to the game....
